Table 2-4 lists the models certified with the UltraNet Edge 3000 for FC/SCSI E_port, N_port,

NL_port, and FICON configurations, and shows the supported firmware versions.

Note: Recommended Enterprise Manager code level: 9.0 or higher

Required Switch Settings

This section provides the required switch settings for the supported FC/9000 models.

FC9000 Switch Settings

Use the following settings for the FC9000 switch:

Switch Fabric Parameters

• R_A_TOV: 10000

• If FC9000 fabric only, E_D_TOV: 6000

• For a multi-vendor switch fabric, E_D_TOV: 5000

UMD Switch Settings

Use the following settings for the UMD switch:

• E_D_TOV: 5000
