Bugs

The bugs in this section are listed in numerical order and with the status of priority

(P) and severity (S). The bugs are divided into these two categories:

■ “Bugs With the 6140 Director” on page 4

■ “Bugs With System Components Configured With the 6140 Director” on page 6

Bugs With the 6140 Director

■ Bug 4762783 (P4/S4): The online help incorrectly states that the 6064 director

needs to be offline for a firmware upgrade.

Note – The message indicates “6064 Director,” but it is applicable to both the 6064

and 6140 McDATA directors.

Workaround: The 6140 director can remain online during a firmware upgrade.

■ Bug 4765963 (P5/S4): The deleteWwnMem command returns the following error

message.

Workaround: Ensure that the active Zoneset has been moved to the working area

by typing the config.zoning.replaceZoneSet command. You can also use

the Enterprise Fabric Connectivity Manager (EFCM) Lite to delete the zone.

■ Bug 4832847 (P4/S4): When you download E/OS 5.1 “switch firmware” with the

Netscape Navigator or Netscape Communicator browser, only 50 characters of the

firmware file name are displayed for selection.

Workaround: Use the McDATA Enterprise Fabric Connectivity Management

(EFCM) Lite software to download the E/OS.

■ Bug 4834286 (P4/S4): The McDATA Enterprise Fabric Connectivity Management

(EFCM) Lite software zone setting and other zone information is not displayed

properly after the server that is running the EFCM Lite software is replaced.

Workaround: Import or restore the zone information on the EFCM Lite server.
