Removal and Replacement Procedures (RRPs)
a. Insert the torque tool into the locking Allen screw (yellow).
Turn thescrew counter-clockwise until the spring releasesand
the tool turns freely.
b. Insert the torque tool into the cam Allen screw (uncolored). To
unseattheportcardandcamitoutofthebackplane,turnthe
screw counterclockwise until the tool turns freely (Figure 5-3).
10. Pull the port card from its card track and remove it from the
director chassis. Place the card in an anti-static bag to provide
ESD protection.

Replacement To replace a UPM or XPM card:
NOTE: The spring-loaded (lock) Allen screws are colored yellow and are
mounted near yellow "lock" symbols on the frame.
1. Remove the replacement card from its protective anti-static bag.
